B2B portals & customer pricing
Professional trade: closed portals, debtor numbers, dedicated assortments and tiered prices per customer — the B2B standard.
Business customers need different things than consumers: net prices, volume tiers, purchase on account and an assortment that matches their contract. On miegroup the B2B side is not an add-on but an operating mode per website.
What you can actually do with it
- Operating mode per website: open shop, closed customer portal or both side by side.
- Customer prices and volume tiers per business customer, optionally shown net.
- Assortment control: each customer only sees what is released for them.
- Login barrier, customer number and individual payment terms per customer.
Frequently asked questions
What is a closed B2B portal?
A website that only logged-in business customers can see. Each customer gets a debtor number, their own assortment and their own prices — anything they may not buy is simply not shown.
How do customer and tiered prices work?
Prices are stored per customer or customer group, with tiers by quantity. The customer sees net and gross prices according to their settings; the prices also apply through the procurement interfaces.
Can I run B2B and B2C in parallel?
Yes. A website can run open (B2C), closed (B2B only) or mixed; products carry an audience flag. A retailer with proof of trade sees B2B prices, everyone else sees consumer prices.
