How it works: from enquiry to delivery
The only place where European origin is verified, the language barrier disappears – and you can actually buy instead of filling in a contact form.
It is not the individual functions that make the difference, but that no gap is left between them. Here is what actually happens between your search and the delivery.
01 Before a manufacturer becomes visible
Registration, proof of trade, legal details, seal. Only when that is complete do the articles appear in the catalogue. If something is missing, a deadline starts; after it, the listing disappears again.
For you as a buyer that means: what you see has already been filtered. You are not checking the basics, you are assessing the offer.
02 How an article reaches your language
The manufacturer creates the article in their own language. From there it goes into the other languages of the platform – name, description, attributes, search terms. If they change the text, the translations follow.
Whatever a person has edited by hand stays untouched. Only what has actually changed is re-translated, not the entire catalogue.
03 From order to invoice
If your basket contains goods from several manufacturers, it becomes one order per seller – but only one payment. You have a single checkout, every manufacturer has their own order with their own invoice.
Invoice, delivery note, packing list and shipping label are created in the same run and sit in your account. Cancellation and withdrawal go through the same place; the withdrawal period starts with proof of delivery, not with dispatch.
04 What runs in the background
Translations, image descriptions, the search index, origin checks, notifications to search engines: much of it is done by machines, and that is deliberately not the selling point.
All that counts for you is that a Portuguese article text is readable in Arabic the same day, and that a new page becomes findable within minutes. How that comes about is our job, not yours.
Or read what this means for you as a buyer.
