Sign in with a passkey: fingerprint instead of password
On Made in Europe, tolisto and madeingermany.shop you can now sign in with your fingerprint, face recognition or device PIN – without a password.
The problem
Passwords are tedious to type, get forgotten and can be stolen. Passkey sign-in was prepared in the shops but could not be used there.
The solution
Create a passkey for your device in your account under “Passkeys”. After that, a click on “Sign in with a passkey” and your fingerprint are all it takes on the sign-in page. A passkey applies to the website on which you created it; your password remains valid alongside it.
