Switching language keeps you on the same page – with filters and search
When you switch language, you stay on the same page: product, filters, search term and anchor are kept, and the address adapts.
The problem
When the language was switched, the page carried the product name from the previous language into the address, and only a second redirect corrected it. Depending on the page, filters or the anchor were lost along the way.
The solution
Switching language now goes straight to the correct address in the new language, for example from /de/shop/35-blumenkasten-bk-03 to /en/shop/35-flower-box-bk-03. Filters, search terms, page number and anchors are carried over.
