Shops load much faster on mobile
Less data per page: texts only in the selected language, images in a suitable size, logos in modern formats.
The problem
Every page loaded the texts of all 26 languages and background images in full size. On mobile this added up to several megabytes, and the page appeared noticeably later.
The solution
The browser now loads only the texts of the selected language, on mobile the images in a suitable size, and company logos and images as AVIF or WebP. The font comes from our own server instead of Google. For search engines and AI assistants, logos are also available as JPEG.
