Unread message count included the trash
The number of unread messages in the menu no longer includes deleted emails in the trash.
The problem
The number next to the Messages menu item was too high: Unread emails that you had already moved to the trash continued to be counted.
The solution
Only unread emails outside the trash and unread chat messages are now counted. This means the number matches your inbox.
